There seemed to be a trend in the Antelope Valley area back in the 1980s and 90s when many home developments in the area were built. In more recent years, newer communities have installed white vinyl windows and doors to help with UV, and they have attempted to reduce heat gain. Some lower-cost windows do not have enough argon gas; therefore, they are not as effective as better quality, more expensive windows. Either way, we highly recommend installing solar screens to keep your home cool!
